Free tools
Small tools for the bench, in your browser.
Decode a negative response, parse a UDS message, look up a DID, calculate ISO-TP frames or rate a threat scenario per ISO/SAE 21434. Everything runs locally, nothing is sent to us.
In short
AutoST offers free browser-based tools for automotive diagnostics and security work: a UDS negative response code (NRC) decoder, a UDS request and response decoder, a lookup of standard data identifiers (DIDs) per ISO 14229-1, an ISO-TP (ISO 15765-2) frame calculator and a TARA risk calculator per ISO/SAE 21434 Annex H. No registration, no data leaves the browser.

ISO-TP Frame Calculator
How many CAN frames does a UDS message need? Enter the payload length, pick classic CAN or CAN FD and flow control: first, consecutive and flow-control frames and timing.
ISO/SAE 21434TARA Risk Calculator per ISO/SAE 21434
Rate a threat scenario the way ISO/SAE 21434 does: impact in four categories, attack feasibility from attack potential, and the risk value 1 to 5 with a treatment hint.
UDSUDS DID Lookup: Standard Data Identifiers
Look up the data identifiers reserved by ISO 14229-1: VIN (F190), active session (F186), software and hardware numbers, fingerprints, OBD and safety ranges.
UDSUDS Message Decoder
Paste UDS bytes from a trace and see what they mean: service, sub-function, session, DIDs, routine identifier, SecurityAccess level or NRC, per ISO 14229-1.
UDSUDS Negative Response Code Decoder
Decode a UDS negative response in a second: paste 7F 27 35 or a bare code and get the ISO 14229 name, the rejected service and what it means on the bench. Full NRC table.

Useful? The full suite does this against your ECU, automatically.
In a one-hour demo we run AutoST against a demo ECU or, if you have one on the bench, against yours.
